Your submission at Articles for creation: Arjun Sundaresan (2) (January 6)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Several beginner tips

Hi there, re: these edits and these and similar, if you're going to edit articles, you should familiarise yourself with the various infobox instructions, in this case, Template:Infobox person. We don't typically include the names of non-notable relatives in the infobox, and it seems especially unnecessary when indicating the names of non-notable minor children.

Additionally, please see WP:OVERLINK - Wikilinks compete for readers' attention, and we should not be linking to common words/phrases or major geographical regions or adding multiple wikilinks for the same subject, etc. Wikilinks aren't decorations, they should be included only when they are necessary to improve understanding of the subject.

And, re: this edit, when adding an image to an infobox, you should only add the name of the image. So in this case, just Pranav Mohanlal.jpg, not [[File:Pranav Mohanlal.jpg|thumb|]]. The latter creates a box within a box, and it's just not how we do things.

And re: this edit, per WP:SURNAME, once we've established who the subject is, we refer to them by their surname from that point forward, which is why it was formatted that way. This is the standard in global English. An exception might be if the subject's second name is a patronym, which doesn't appear to be the case here.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Socialquora requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --- Possibly (talk) 07:03, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello WriticBee. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:WriticBee. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=WriticBee|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. bonadea contributions talk 13:30, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:WriticBee, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=WriticBee|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. bonadea contributions talk 07:59, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

Information icon Hello, I'm Xexerss. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Xexerss (talk) 16:21, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Trent Limited. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Xexerss (talk) 16:23, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, you may be blocked from editing. Xexerss (talk) 16:34, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It commenced yesterday on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize and $300 top prize for doing articles on populated places and geography. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! Feel free to invite others who you think might want to contribute.♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:38, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
