Update to The Taxpayers page submission

Hello! Thanks for leaving such thoughtful comments on the article that I submitted a few months back about The Taxpayers! I've since added a few more sources in hopes of satisfying the approval requirements. I've included a few more sources I found including a KMUW interview and some articles from some local publications. However, I'm having a hard time finding a source to cite for one of their songs that went viral on TikTok because I can't find any sources that outright say that it went viral. Is there a site that people refer to for data like that? The only sources I can see are a Reddit post from the band themselves and a Genius page that mentions it. Also, do you have any suggestions as to what else I should add to try before resubmitting it for consideration? Thank you so much! Leewaylad (talk) 22:17, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Leewaylad Unfortunately I'm not aware of a site that might have that kind of data, especially given that Tiktok is a bit more nebulous when it comes to tracking that kind of thing. WP:ABOUTSELF is a thing, but in this case you'd rather have the information from an independent source as to not give the appearance of promo. Glancing over the article, it reads fairly well, I'd maybe consider moving some of the information from the lead into the body to ensure the lead is summarizing the main points but other than that it looks decent! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 01:47, 12 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Jefferson de Jesus Costa on Tapas (website) (18:39, 17 February 2026)

Question from Stukes2012 (03:59, 19 February 2026)

Good evening, how do I add a photo to my Wikipedia page. I need to put out an PSA that if someone does an image search, this page pulls up. This woman scammed me out of $60K. It was very well organized with using multiple apps and crypto wallets. I thought she was helping me but in reality, she took $60K from me then disappeared. I just want others not to fall for the same scam. Nothing more. --Stukes2012 (talk) 03:59, 19 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Stukes2012 — was this scam related to Wikipedia? We do not allow WP:ATTACKPAGEs anywhere on Wikipedia, even if the person did scam you. If the scam is Wikipedia related, you can take it to WT:SCAM if it is a type of scam not already covered on WP:SCAM. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 04:05, 19 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Paris in france (22:30, 20 February 2026)

Helloo I’m editing a producers page and I’m trying to add a song, but when I link the wiki page, it adds the artist name because it’s apart of the article. (Ex. “How Long (Paula Toledo song)”) how do I remove the artist name while still keeping the title? --Paris in france (talk) 22:30, 20 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Paris in france! The solution here would be to use a piped link. For example, [[How Long (Paula Toledo song)|How Long]] which renders as How Long. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 22:43, 20 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Snakooo (05:27, 21 February 2026)

HELOOOOO! Okay so I wanna write a lil wikipedia article about my school. Is that allowed orrr no? I read the like notability and promotional guidelines a bit and I'll try to not make it promotional and whatnot. It's been covered in the like city newspapers and stuff so I think it's a little notable! --Snakooo (talk) 05:27, 21 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Snakooo That's definitely allowed! As long as it passes notability and all information in it is viable, you're work than welcome to write an article about it. I would recommend starting off in draftspace, and you can read WP:Your first article for more information on getting started! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 19:55, 21 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know! Thanks. Snakooo (talk) 17:53, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Springster317 (23:38, 22 February 2026)

How many sources are needed for an average edit? --Springster317 (talk) 23:38, 22 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Springster317! Sources aren't needed per edit but rather per claim. You usually just need one source per claim, unless that claim is unusual or extraordinary. You can read our policies on WP:Verification if you want more info! 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 14:27, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from AngelinaJolie34 (14:40, 26 February 2026)

Hi hello, I am Angelina, I would to know how to create a Wikipedia page with my biography in it with pictures, my work and humanitarian actions in a long biography, also list my movies with a special onglet link. Thanks I appreciate this. --AngelinaJolie34 (talk) 14:40, 26 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Alexandria Quartermaine (14:51, 27 February 2026)

Hi Maddie. I'm Alexandria Quartermaine and I'm trying to post some information about my uncle (Col Rod Turner) on Wikipedia. Questions: 1) I want to post his official military photo to the page. How do I do that. It is an official government photo available to the general public. 2) I had my post edited yesterday and I was wondering if I can make any additions. Thanks, Alexandria --Alexandria Quartermaine (talk) 14:51, 27 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Alexandria Quartermaine! If it is an official government portrait, it should be uploadable under public domain to WikiMedia Commons (direct link). Just follow that link, hit the upload file button, and you can upload it and link it as a file (see WP:FILES for instructions on including it on your draft). I'm not sure if I understand your second question, but it seems your draft is located at User:Alexandria Quartermaine/sandbox, and you can continue editing/working on it there. You should make sure to add secondary sources that are reliable, are independent of the subject, and have significant coverage of the subject to show that your uncle meets WP:NOTABILITY. You should also declare your connection to the subject (aka a conflict of interest), see WP:COIDECLARE for instructions on how to do that. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 15:38, 27 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Harrison0123 (20:02, 28 February 2026)

Hi Maddie! I wanted to know if my article about Bornblum Jewish Community School fit the guidelines (name is draft: Bornblum Jewish Community School). I've had it denied once, so I need to make sure it fits the qualifications. I wrote about it because I found it interesting about how they were the first school in the US to use anti-Covid-19 HVAC filters. I also wanted to know if my eit to "Timeline of Iran's History" (I added the recent event) had enough information and sources. --Harrison0123 (talk) 20:02, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Harrison0123! For your draft, you're going to want to find secondary sources that are reliable, are independent of the subject, and have significant coverage of the subject. This will show that your draft meets WP:NOTABILITY, which is the main barrier to acceptance. Regarding your edit to Timeline of Iranian history, it generally looks good! You did the right thing by providing citations to reliable sources. The one small thing I would note is that on Wikipedia we generally try to avoid wording that editorializes, such as on the contrary — you can see MOS:EDITORIAL for more information on this. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 16:11, 1 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Harrison0123 (19:30, 1 March 2026)

Hi Maddie! I've been working on my article, but it keeps getting denied. but this last time I found a source that fits all four criteria, and it was denied for the same reason. Can you tell me the specifics on why it keeps getting denied? It would help a lot! --Harrison0123 (talk) 19:30, 1 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Harrison0123 — in general you're going to want multiple sources that meet all four criteria. Two is considered the bare minimum, but ideally you'd like three or four. Keep digging for sources and hopefully you can find something! A source just needs to be reliably published, so it may be worth looking for mentions in books or scholarly papers (Google Books and Google Scholar can be good ways to search for these). 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 22:43, 1 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Serdinya (17:16, 2 March 2026)

Hi @Serdinya — I'm not sure I can diagnose the problem based on what you're describing. I would start a thread at the WP:TEAHOUSE, there might be some people there more familiar with beginner modules who could help diagnose what's going on. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 00:23, 3 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Loveydoveyg-d on Draft:Chancellor Pharaoh Rogers. (17:58, 4 March 2026)

How do I add pictures. --Loveydoveyg-d (talk) 17:58, 4 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Loveydoveyg-d! There are a few ways you can add pictures, the method depends on the rights to the picture and how it will be used. Can you give me more specifics about the picture you want to upload? 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 18:16, 4 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Question from The Southern American (03:28, 5 March 2026)

What resources can I get on how to start editing? I want to edit an article that is a politically motivated, opinionated, and completely false. Actually within the article the writer of it uses pieces of evidence to write a false opinionated narrative. The writer does this so well that if I knew nothing of the organization they were ignorantly lying about I would believe it. I want to edit the article and tell the truth and not create an opinionated false narrative. Because of articles like the one I am mentioning I understand why the majority of American English classes do not allow the use of Wikipedia as a source. Please help. --The Southern American (talk) 03:28, 5 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @The Southern American — could you be more specific on the article you want to edit? A good resource for getting started is Help:Getting started. Given the nature of your question, you might also be interested in WP:NPOV and WP:RS. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 03:54, 5 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
