Biography Wikiproject tagging

Hi there, thank you for all the good work you're doing! I just wanted to flag that for biograpical articles, ideally you should add |blp=no or |blp=yes to the banner shell for articles of people as appropriate, so they don't get added to maintenance categories like Category:Biography articles without blp parameter. Thank you. -Kj cheetham (talk) 09:33, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article John Blizek has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks SIGCOV in independent sources. Checked ProQuest, Google Books, Google News.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —LastJabberwocky (Rrarr) 08:55, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Industrial Banner

Hi Slgrandson

A couple of your recent assessments (Rocklin Manufacturing, Paweł Rozenfeld), added the WP:INDUSTRIAL project banner to articles that have to do with manufacturing. The Industrial project focuses on Industrial music as opposed to industrial manufacturing, so I've removed the banner from those articles. As you do a lot of assessments (thanks!) Thanks for reviewing my page Thunder and Lightning (Chicago song)! I didn't know you could review it after I made it seconds ago. You must be a very fast reviewer! SpongeBobMusicFan123 (talk) 11:04, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @Slgrandson. I’d like to let you know that there is now an AfD discussion for the article you recently reviewed, Cube (software company).

Since it was accepted through both AfC and NPP, I thought you might want to be aware of it and, if you’re interested, take part in the discussion and share your opinion on the media outlets. Soimuldacic (talk) 00:49, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Italian football seasons

Hello @Slgrandson - idle curiosity spike: I often AFC Italian football clubs' seasons when they start getting to 2 months old under WP:NSEASONS and invariably you follow up with NPP and rating. Would it make your job any easier if I spec'd up the Football project to Italian seasons and / or put a Low rating. If you get an inner joy from doing this then clearly the answer is no, but it seems you do 2 parts of NPP, and I could probably do the Talk part fairly easily. Hi Slgrandson. Thank you for your work on N. Kalaiselvi. Another editor, Pythoncoder, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

This looks AI-generated. The "recognition and honors" section looks like textbook LLM output, based on how it contributes nothing to the article beyond making a vague suggestion of notability.

Applying FA to articles

Information icon Hi @Slgrandson. It appears you rated Jarosław Obremski as WP:FA, despite it not ever receiving a consensus for this. FA is an extremely rigorous process that requires the community to review an article using the toughest criteria. The highest an article can be rated without being reviewed is B-Class. Please keep this in mind when reviewing articles in future. Thank you. 11WB (talk) 22:34, 26 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Each article review earns 1 point, while each redirect review earns 0.2 points.
  • Streak awards will be granted based on consistently meeting weekly point thresholds.

Your review of The Sixteenth Sheep

Hey! Firstly, thanks for reviewing it so quickly, I had just placed a request for it to be assessed barely a few minutes before you did that. But I noticed that you gave it a C, and I wanted to ask this:

What do you think is missing in the article before it can be a B-Class? The only parts uncited are parts that don't require citations (the lede/lead, track listing and personnel, latter two do not require citations according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Album article style advice). Are there any sections that you think are missing? I'm just curious. Once again, thanks for reviewing the article so quickly! S.G. (talk) 01:27, 28 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Bouchra

On 18 January 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Bouchra, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a re-edit of an animated film produced for a 2024 Milan exhibition became popular among one site's furry userbase? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Bouchra. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Bouchra), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.
