Hey Liz, I noticed you deleted the page RIPfest. I would love to have this be reconsidered. This was a large film festival that involved humdreds of films over many years. I can understand it may not be cited, but I am unclear why citation would be a factor in determining the value of maintaining a record of a significant event. I know there isn't much reference available, but this is increasingly difficult for events that were popular before the ubiquity of the modern internet. I do have many posters from these festivals if this helps, and I am happy to search for additional articles and contributors too. One reason I am asking for r4econsideration is that the founders - now emmy winning producers - are considering a new, rebooted RIPfest for 2026. Thanks

I noticed that you moved the page of a Nepali film titled Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi to the Sarangi: A Journey of Purna Bahadur. I don't understand why it was moved to a english title with a wrong translation. Shouldn't the title be in its own language just like many other films? The title I moved it to isn't supposed to be a translation, just the "English release name" which I found on sites like [1], [2], and [3] which has both while the transliteration of the Nepali name was written [4] different [5] ways [6] in different places so I thought it might be easier to have a standardized title. Hi there! I'm from Nepal and I frequently create articles for Nepali films, including this as well. And I would like to tell you that the transliteration provided in the above references is wrong. Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi is literally transliterated as Sarangi of Purna Bahadur. There is no word in the title that implies the word Journey. I kindly ask you to restore the Novels section with accurate information about the books, and to restore all publications of Caspanello's works abroad, which confirm the widespread diffusion of his writing. I see that on many other entries similar to this one, the section contains similarly worded information. Caspanello has been published not only in France and Turkey, but also in Belgium, Kosovo, and the United States. The ISBN codes also serve to demonstrate this. I ask you to restore the Directions section because it confirms his activity as a director, with all the references from independent newspapers and specialized websites. If you'd like to summarize the Style and Poetics section, you can do so, but please don't delete it; the section contains important references related to the Italian, French, and Canadian academic and university worlds. January–February 2026 Backlog Drive | New pages patrol
New Pages Patrol is hosting a one-time, two-month experimental backlog drive aimed at reducing the backlog. This will be a combo drive: both articles and redirects will earn points.
