Hi, you are doing a great job on many of football articles, thank you for your efforts. --Mishary94 (talk) 13:45, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll try my best. You also do a huge effort. Juanan412 (talk) 18:06, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- I have the following statement but I don't remember where it comes from and I can't find Cruyff's goal either, could yo help me?: Tjaronn Chery (now of QPR) scored after just nine seconds in the match between Roda JC and ADO Den Haag in the Dutch Eredivisie on 16 October 2011, Chery is now joint second in the ‘Fastest Ever Eredivisie Goal’ stakes, level with Johan Cruyff and Romeo Forests on 9 seconds – with ex-NAC Breda midfielder Koos Waslander still a whole second faster in first-place by way of his 8-second goal against PEC Zwolle in 1982. Djalma Santos
Hello! Djalma Santos used to be in the past on the list of footballers with at least 1,000 official matches, but he was removed because at least 1,000 official matches cannot be verified. See discussion here: User talk:Lorry Gundersen/Archive 1#Djalma Santos++ and here: User talk:Bakermannn#Djalma Santos++. Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 17:16, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! I wasn't aware but I've found this link where it is said that Santos played 1045 games (https://iffhs.com/posts/455). Nevertheless, in the latest update he doesn't appear (https://www.iffhs.com/posts/3680). Should we include him in this list or not? Kind regards! Juanan412 (talk) 17:52, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! As a total it appears to be over 1,000, but the important thing for his exclusion is that it's not verified by Brazilian sites that give details about the matches/which matches and where they were played, where the over 1,000 is if friendlies are included (I don't mean the official clubs', i.e. of clubs where he played, sites that have him over 1,000 as a total and no details, because in Brazil things are a bit different; there is no separation of friendlies and official, like it is in the other countries when they mention totals). Personally, I wouldn't separate friendlies before 1975 and would include players like Djalma Santos and Pelé on the list, but that's only my point of view and, most importantly, something that other WP football editors don't agree with. Anyway, Djalma Santos' 1,000 official matches is not backed up by detailed stats, hence it's not included anymore. P.S. IFFHS is used because FIFA draws stats from IFFHS (mainly) and RSSSF, but I wouldn't trust it so much/it needs caution when used, mainly since the time it got Arab-owned, as since then it has been noticed to be CR7-subjective, e.g. in their previous publication Fábio had 1,192 matches (https://iffhs.com/posts/3147), and now, 8 months later, where he kept playing, his total is reduced to 1,182, but they don't give any explanation of why they removed so many matches (by the way, their previous relevant publication didn't even include him: https://www.iffhs.com/index.php/posts/1680), but, even though not infallible or totally impartial, it is a major statistics DB anyway and for that, apart from being used from FIFA, it is used. Another example is this: https://iffhs.com/posts/2670 where they deem as top-level only Paulista and Carioca championships while not other Brazilian regional A leagues (for example, why Paranaense A is not top-level?), which is arbitrary in my humble opinion and makes no sense, at least without explanation. Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 18:24, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for all this information. I wasn't aware of all this stuff. I don't consider major changes should be done, so everything is ok how it is. Thanks again! Juanan412 (talk) 19:17, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

NWSL attendance
All of the November 2023 playoff games belong in the "Domestic Cups" section, where one of them is already listed. Great additions, though. Jeff in CA (talk) 20:05, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

List of world association football records
You told me when reverting my edit to discuss it on the talk page, which I did. But, you completely ignored it. So, could you participate in the discussion so we can settle this please? Spectritus (talk) 12:12, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
You are not alone in wikipedia and before you delete what I'm writing, it's better to READ. I never write without the appropriate knowledge. You also ignore the already existed references. Enough.Γεώργιος Τερζής 1 (talk) 22:49, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
- You really think I ignore references? To be honest, I am the one who adds more and more references being comprehesive but you simply can't delete Peyroteo for example when he is mentioned in a note. Everybody is always trying to look for something else which I personally don't know what it is Juanan412 (talk) 07:01, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- Peyroteo was regarded as the most prolific scorer in football history till January 2021, when the updated list of RSSSF included Erwin Helmchen stats. If you search a lot, you will confirm what I'm writing to you. As of 2025, there is no player in football history with a higher goal to game rate than Helmchen, including players with at least 300 goals (for lower numbers of goals the Brazilian Mario de Castro has a rate of 1.95). As I mentioned in one of my edits Alf Quill and Reg Date have possibly better stat than Helmchen goal to game rate stat, but IFFHS doesn't announce number of games. So, their is no place for Peyroteo. I'm not the one who tries to find something new. I know what is true and what is media garbage.Γεώργιος Τερζής 1 (talk) 15:14, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- I don't have any hobby to revert and I do not understand why you remove notes. Is it your hobby? Honestly, I don't understand anything at this point... Juanan412 (talk) 21:34, 13 August 2025 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of footballers who achieved hat-trick records, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Intercontinental Cup. Falcao record
Hello, what do you think about adding a new statistic: the youngest player to score a goal in professional football? Armen Ghazaryan scored at the age of 14 years and 215 days in the top division. I also discovered that Radamel Falcao scored on 23 July 2000, at the age of 14 years and 164 days, but that was in the second division; nevertheless, it still falls under professional football. I am not sure whether there is a younger case, but I have only just discovered this record. Mishary94 (talk) 14:32, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- You mean Falcao would be the youngest ever proffesional goalscorer? In that case, Aung Kyaw Tun would be the youngest, right? Thanks! Juanan412 (talk) 20:15, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- I mean the youngest player to score for a club in a professional match; this does not include national teams. Mishary94 (talk) 23:04, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- We are missing youngest player in a domestic cup match and youngest player in an international club match (who might be Diego Suárez). Then, we are also missing youngest ever goalscorer, youngest goalscorer in a professional match (who might be Falcao), youngest goalscorer in an international club competition match (who might be Nii Lamptey) and youngest ever goalscorer in a domestic cup match. Also, we should rewrite some titles cause they might be confusing. Juanan412 (talk) 09:22, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
