Administrator Elections - Voting Phase

The voting phase of the December 2025 administrator elections has started and will continue until Dec 15 at 23:59 UTC. You can participate in the voting phase at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/December 2025/Voting phase.

As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:

  • Dec 9–15 - SecurePoll voting phase
  • Scrutineering phase

In the voting phase, the candidate subpages close to public questions and discussion, and everyone who qualifies to vote has a week to use the SecurePoll software to vote, which uses a secret ballot. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote totals cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's vote total during the election. The suffrage requirements are similar to those at RFA.

Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which will last for a few days, perhaps longer. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the results page (this is a good page to watchlist), and transcluded to the main election page. In order to be granted adminship, a non-recall candidate must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose), and a minimum of 20 support votes. Recall candidates must achieve 55.0% support. Because this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ("crat chats").

Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

Articles on individual isotope being merged into "Isotopes of..." pages

Is there consensus for this sort of action? Last I had heard, one goal of the WTELEMENTS was to get one article for each isotope, and at least among some elements each isotope definitely meets WP:GNG and has substantive article content. Please pause your work on this for a moment and join discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Elements#Articles on individual isotope being merged into "Isotopes of..." pages to make sure this possibly extensive set of changes has consensus. Thank you for the message, I replied there. I hope it assuages your concerns. For context, the immense majority (thousands) of isotopes pages are redirects at the moment, with a lot of them not even having a dedicated section on "Isotopes of [...]" pages. The ones that are clearly notable are very much the exception, and while there are verifiable things to say about a lot of other ones, they have only niche uses that do not clear them for notability on their own, hence the point of these "Isotopes of" pages. Please read it before any more page moves. Thank you. Llammakey (talk) 21:23, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

You may disagree with my move, and even revert it, but telling me to read a guideline that I literally mentioned in my edit summary is very unhelpful. You may have noticed I did not move any other page (and did not plan to, if that alleviates your concerns), because my goal was not to try to change a guideline written by WikiProject Ships, but to apply WP:CONCISE, which is policy. I do not care enough to argue about the title itself as it is inconsequential, but next time please either actually read my edit summary, or do not act like I cannot read a guideline.
