Good day! NextEra Energy Partners has changed its name to XPLR Infrastructure, LP, effective January 23, 2025, and will begin trading under the new ticker symbol, XIFR. If possible, we'd like to change all references to reflect this name change. More information can be found here: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nextera-energy-partners-lp-renamed-213000964.html
It would also likely be best to frame this company as a 'limited partnership' rather than describing XPLR Infrastructure as a "a publicly traded subsidiary of NextEra Energy", which is not accurate.

- Hello! I wanted to flag this request as it's an important change that needs to be made. I'm happy to make this change if allowed. NextEraMatt (talk) 15:22, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- @NextEraMatt This is more appropriate as a requested move, which I have filed for you in hopes of moving this to a more visible and less backlogged venue. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 23:26, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
- @NextEraMatt, now that the article has been moved, you can go ahead and change the names in the article. If you want make any changes other than replacing NextErra Engergy with XPLR Infrastrucuture and clarifying once that it used to be NextEra, please open a new request for those. Thank you! NextEra Energy Partners → XPLR Infrastructure – Procedurally filing to help move along a COI edit request as above. The subject of the article was renamed in January 2025, a development that is not fully reflected in the revision as of writing this RM. I am neutral but may weigh in later. - Given the time since the rename, coverage has been sparse, but this Reuters article uses the new name prominently. There is also some explanatory coverage from The Motley Fool that wouldn't belong in the article due to source quality but does provide some explanation of why there has been a name change. - I would also flag the 10-K notes the name change and XPLR's corporate structure as a limited partnership, not as a subsidiary. NextEraMatt (talk) 12:53, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Good day @Sammi Brie @Valorrr @Jeffrey34555- I truly appreciate you relisting this request. Given that it's important to keep Wikipedia pages accurate do you think there's a better method to making these changes? NextEraMatt (talk) NextEraMatt (talk) 13:37, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
