Most of the Modeern Medicine are produced by extracting chemicals from herbal / ayurvedic extracts and then proving those chemical compositions. Hence this is a myth that Homoeopathy or Ayurveda or other ancient Medicines are not proven.
For Instance -
1. Quinine is an extract of Chinchona Bark that treats Malaria in Modern medicine, Homoepathy and Ayurveda / Unani systems.
2. Povidine is an extract of Turmeric that has healing power used in all the systems of medicine in different forms.
3. Predenisolone is chemical extract of PAssiflora that is used for respiratory diseases in all system of medicines especially in Acute Asthma attacks.
There many more such instance. Hence labelling Homoeopathy as unproven science is just like ignoring the facts that are already established.
This may be done just to subdue the popularity of Homoeopathy else the support of so called Modern Medicine will become low and people will shift from Modern medicine to Homoeopathy or other such alternative Systems of Medicines like Ayurveda, Unani, Tibetian pathies. Not done Note that the article does not label homeopathy as unproven science. Based on ample sources, it labels homeopathy as (proven) pseudoscience. We can't add anything without relevant secondary sources. - DVdm (talk) 16:12, 17 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
