Oravské Veselé is a village and municipality in Námestovo District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1629.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 749 metres (2,457 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 41.21 km² (15.91 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 3081 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 2996 people by ethnicity 2979 as Slovak, 89 as Not found out, 7 as Czech, 4 as Polish, 3 as Hungarian, 3 as Croatian, 2 as Other, 1 as Ukrainian, 1 as Italian, 1 as Romani, 1 as German, 1 as English and 1 as Albanian.
