Horná Strehová (Hungarian: Felsősztregova) is a village and municipality in the Veľký Krtíš District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 205 metres (673 ft)[3] and covers an area of 7.80 km2 (3.01 sq mi) (2024).[4]
History
In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1493 (Zthergowa). It belonged to Divín and Modrý Kameň.
