Trenčianske Jastrabie (Hungarian: Ölved) is a village and municipality in Trenčín District in the Trenčín Region of northwestern Slovakia.

The name comes from Slovak Jastrab (hawk). Jastrabie (1439 Jaztreby) — a place with many hawks and/or a place where hawks are trained for falconry.^[4] Former official Slovak names were also Jastrabie pod Inovcom, Jastrabie pri Trenčíne, since 1946 Trenčianske Jastrabie.

The village was first mentioned in historical records in 1269.^{[citation needed]}

The municipality lies at an altitude of 284 metres (932 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 12.25 km² (4.73 sq mi) (2024).^[5]

It has a population of 1391 people (31 December 2024).^[7]

In year 2021 was 1252 people by ethnicity 1238 as Slovak, 16 as Not found out, 14 as Czech, 2 as Other, 1 as Irish, 1 as Ukrainian, 1 as Moravian and 1 as English.
