Talk:Territorial control during the Russo-Ukrainian war

Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 22 November 2025

Change Pokrovsk and Kupiansk to contested instead of steady Ukrainian control. Liveuamap shows daily engagements within city limits with neither country fully occupying the cities. ~2025-34330-68 (talk) 14:42, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Pokrovsk and Kupiansk are already listed as contested. Day Creature (talk) 17:17, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Tyotkino

@Mr.User200 You're edit warring to insert WP:SYNTH into the article, the cited reference says nothing about Tyotkino, so you're making a claim based not on RS, but your own interpretation. Please provide a reference actually supporting the change you want to make instead of repeatedly violating WP:ONUS. TylerBurden (talk) 23:03, 18 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Did you cared in looking in the source ISW - thrid map I provided and you reverted 3 times? Mr.User200 (talk) 00:14, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure how many times it needs to be repeated, your interpretation of a map is editorial synthesis, if you want to change the content, then support it with a citation clearly stating that it is under Russian control. If you are unable to do so, then don't make the change, let alone start edit warring when reverted. TylerBurden (talk) 21:39, 21 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Update Zaporozhye Oblast section

According to ISW, Russian forces seized Plavni. Another settlement, Malaya Tokmachka, is contested. [1] I would like to add this, but I'm unfamiliar with how editors determines the specific dates on which Russian forces captured or contested the settlements, especially since sources and mappers vary so widely.
