Spanish-made "Ruby-Cebra" pistol, as seen in the Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw

Ruby (Template:Lang-fr) was a French World War I pistol. A piece of international weapon, it was modelled after the American Browning M1903 by the Belgian Fabrique Nationale de Herstal, for the French Armee de Terre in Spanish Gabilondo y Urresti-Eibar works, as well as several other smaller firms in northern Spain. The pistol is a simple blowback weapon with an internal hammer, in 7.65mm (32 ACP) caliber, and had a nine round magazine. The biggest changes were in the safety mechanism and the elimination of the grip safety.
