The Kids of Degrassi Street was the first TV show in the [[Degrassi series]] of shows about the lives of a group of kids living on or near [[Degrassi Street]] in [[Toronto, Ontario]], [[Canada]]. It first aired from [[1979]] to [[1985]] and is memorable to many [[Canadians]] who watched it because over the years they've watched the kids grow up and many of the troubles depicted in the TV characters lives are reflected in real life.
