Template:DavisCupinfobox The India Davis Cup team represents India in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the All India Tennis Association.
India finished as runners-up 3 times (1966, 1974, 1987). In 1974, they refused to play South Africa in the final, due to the government's apartheid policies. India were strong favorites to win with the legendary Ishmale Bopanna captaining the team. They currently compete in the Asia/Oceana Zone of Group I. They last competed in the World Group in 2010.
