Why Official? Are there any unofficial James Bond film characters? -- I@n 02:50, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All the characters in the Danjaq films are considered official. Never Say Never Again and the original Peter Sellers Casino Royale are considered unofficial. Andymarczak 07:28, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most of these characters only appear in a single story, and many of them are just henchmen or sidekicks. Why do they deserve their own articles? Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 19:25, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering that too, we're discussion that at Talk:James Bond. Cbrown1023 18:19, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is discussion on this article at Talk:James Bond

Why are henchmen like Miranda Frost on the villains list? I took Miranda Frost off, saying that she's not a villain, only a henchman a la Xenia Onatopp, and then someone goes and puts her back on and puts Xenia on as well. That wasn't the point. If you're going to include Frost and Xenia, where are Red Grant, Oddjob, Fiona Volpe, Nick Nack, Jaws, Gobinda, May Day, Necros, Milton Krest, Stamper, Zao, etc.? Some movies have pairings where either villain could be said to be the "main" villain (e.g. Elektra and Renard in TWINE, Whitaker and Koskov in TLD), but Frost and Xenia are clearly not those. They are henchman, not main villains, and shouldn't be included on the villain list unless you want to include every single other henchman on the list as well.

New Layout

The new layout for this template is very confusing in that it splits all the characters between the books and the movies (which makes no sense since the character lists under the novels section just leads to the lists from the movies.) Whoever made that obviously has no idea on a to make a straightfoward template that someone could follow. Please change it back to the normal list, NOT splitting them up between the books and the movies. Donco (talk) 22:21, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Henchmen

The list of James Bond henchmen in The Man with the Golden Gun contains no characters at all from the novel, so this list should be listed in the "by film" section not the "by novel" section. I'm moving it accordingly. Opera hat (talk) 12:47, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
