This is the discography documenting albums and singles released by American country and pop singer Taylor Swift. Signed to Big Machine Records in late 2006, she has released a self-titled album, 7 singles, and several music videos. In addition to her debut album, Swift has issued three EPs including a Christmas album, a live one and a compilation album. Swift became the first solo female artist to score 5 top 10 hits from a debut album since the album chart was first published in 1964.[1]She also released 2 songs to pop radio, which became her first Top 20 singles on Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her second album, Fearless, was issued in November 2008. The first single from the new album, "Love Story", reached #5 in the second week. In its seventeenth week, it moved up to #4 and became Swift's highest charted single on Billboard Hot 100 to date. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Fearless and Taylor Swift are among the Top 10 bestselling albums of 2008, which ranked at #3 and #6 respectively. Swift was the bestselling album artist of 2008 in all popular music formats with 4,003,000 copies sold.[2] As of the week ending January 11, 2009, Swift became the first country artist to reach the 2 million paid download mark with three different songs.[3]
