:That is not how it works here, as this isn't the GRG. Only [[WP:V]] (along with an exact date of birth and proof of life within 1 year) needs to be met to be included. However, the reliable sourcing for both entries recently became older then 1 year and new reliable sourcing could not be located, so I have just removed both for failing that standard. Andrelino Vieira da Silva

Yesterday I saw some Brazilian media outlets spreading the story of a man who recently turned 121. The original news story, published here by G1 (one of the biggest and most reliable sources in Brazil), has a picture of his ID, in which his age is confirmed.

If that is true, this is the oldest man ever, the second oldest person ever and the oldest living person. I found it quite strange that no sources have mentioned the fact that he is breaking several records at once. Would this source be enough to add him to the list? As a journalist myself I just find this story way too earth-shattering for sources to act so casual towards it. Victor Lopes Fala!C 16:46, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He does not meet the criteria for inclusion in this article. Belongs in Longevity claims. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 16:50, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Possible supercentenarian inclusion: Delio Venturotti (born 25 October 1909 in Italy, currently residing in Brazil)

Hopefully the news article I’ve cited meets the criteria.

News article published 12/08/2021 “Delio Venturotti, l’italiano più anziano al mondo vive in Brasile e trova un buono postale da quasi 1 milione di euro” (Translated title: Delio Venturotti, the oldest Italian in the world lives in Brazil and finds a postal voucher worth almost 1 million euros)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. booble.it does not seem reliable enough for these claims, especially with their focus on "viral news." ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:00, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
