Závod (Hungarian: Pozsonyzávod) is a village and municipality within the Malacky District in the Bratislava region of western Slovakia.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 161 metres (528 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 27.37 km² (10.57 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 2938 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 2978 people by ethnicity 2890 as Slovak, 73 as Not found out, 33 as Czech, 22 as Romani, 8 as Hungarian, 5 as German, 4 as Vietnamese, 4 as Rusyn, 4 as Other, 3 as Russian, 3 as Austrian, 1 as Chinese, 1 as Ukrainian, 1 as Romanian, 1 as Polish and 1 as Bulgarian.
