Predrag K. Nikolić (Serbian Cyrillic: Предраг К. Николић) is a Serbian new-media artist, interaction designer, and academic. He is known for his works in AI-driven artistic systems, generative art, and human–machine interaction.[1] Since 2025, he has served as an Associate Professor and Head of the School of Design and Arts at the Sarawak Campus of Swinburne University of Technology in Malaysia.[2]

Early life and education

Nikolić holds a PhD in Digital Media and an MFA in Digital Arts from the University of Arts in Belgrade, a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Art History from the University of Belgrade.[3]

Career

Before his appointment at Swinburne, Nikolić held academic positions at institutions worldwide, including the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, USA (where he served as Chair of the Graduate User Experience Design Program), the University of the Bahamas, ShanghaiTech University, and Shantou University.[3]

His professional background includes executive roles in the creative industry, such as Global Digital Director at Grey Group & JWT in Düsseldorf, Global Head of Digital at the Ogilvy Group in Athens, and founder of the digital consultancy DADATAG.[4]

Paul Samson (water polo)

If someone has time, this article is rather an embarrassment because Samson was a prominent thoracic and cardiac surgeon with a medical society named after him. He was chief of surgery at the hospital at Samuel Merritt University and also was on the faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine. In 1946 he founded the thoracic and cardiac surgery training program at Highland Hospital. One of the problems with all of these Olympics sports stubs is that editors often don't look to see if the person was more notable in something else besides being an Olympic athlete. There's a decent obituary on him in Dr. Paul C. Samson, Oakland Tribune, February 12, 1982, page 4 viewable in newspapers.com. I suggest a re-naming of the title because he certainly was better known as a doctor than an athlete. I'm going to leave similar messages at a few other WikiProjects. A while ago, I’ve submitted a biography draft dedicated to the Russian(?)-American businessman and real-estate developer Irving Maidman, but I’ve never actually gotten started on it. The only reason I know who he was was because of his tenure for the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway, but when I searched his name on Wikipedia, the results showed that he was also relevant for multiple notable locations in New York, including (but not limited to) the Benjamin Royal Sonesta New York, Paramount Hotel, Ambassador Theatre (Broadway), Sony Hall, Port Authority Bus Terminal, West Side Airlines Terminal, and the Samuel J. Potential errata in Armand Richard

I am currently working on Deaths in March 1982 and came across the Armand Richard article. I accessed the cited obituary which incidentally is not in the Moncton Times Transcript (which didn't form until October 1982) but was in fact published in it predecessor The Moncton Transcript on March 31, 1982, page 42 (viewable in newspapers.com). It's not at all clear to me that this obit is the same Armand Richard. The obituary states he was born not in Acadieville, New Brunswick (which is where the parliament politician was born) but in Rogersville, New Brunswick. Additionally, the obit, which gives a fairly full account of his life, makes zero mention of his ever serving in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. In short, we may be confusing two entirely different men with the same name. If that is the case than the death date for the politician is likely not true as well as much of the claims about family, children, and being a farmer which all are taken from the obit. Now it is of course possible that some sort of error was reported in the obituary, and that the gaps in content are explainable, but as it currently stands it is not at all conclusive that the content we have is in fact accurate and that the two sources are about the same person.
