Question about your comment at WP:Articles for deletion/TATAA Biocenter

Hi, could you explain what you meant here? I understand asking about COI, but I'm confused how you came to think that User:ManIxal "might be a litigant" in the lawsuit. Let me know if I am missing something but from what I can tell, an admin agreed here that ManIxal's edit about the lawsuit in Mikael Kubista was supported by policy. Your submission at Articles for creation: Greg Hayes (June 28)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MCE89 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:C. John Wilder, from its old location at User:Brucemyboy1212/sandboxUser:Brucemyboy1212/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 01:33, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Richard Taite (businessman) (December 23)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Cabrils was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO) but presently it is not clear that it does.

As you may know, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’. In short, "notability" requires reliable sources about the subject, rather than by the subject. Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. Please note that if you have not already done so, you must also declare your COI on your Talk page (to see instructions on how to do this please see WP:COI and/or WP:PAID). Given the conflict, the review of the page needs to be handled with care, mindful of the higher bar set by pages produced in circumstances of conflict of interest. Such pages typically may read too much like a promotional CV or advertorial (see WP:PROMO), which Wikipedia is not; and/or contain prose that is not of a standard appropriate for an encyclopaedia (also see WP:PEACOCK and WP:NPV). Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject. It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:ANYBIO criteria #3, because XXXXX").

Once you have implemented these suggestions, you may also wish to leave a note for me on my talk page, including the name of the draft page, and I would be happy to reassess.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Employment Hero (January 25)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Meadowlark was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
Make sure you add references that meet all four of these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
This company does not appear to meet the criteria set out in WP:NCORP; only routine business activities are described. Please see WP:42 for more information on what kind of sources you need to show that your subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Information icon Hello Brucemyboy1212! I've seen and responded to a couple of your COI edit requests. However, at Talk:Walter De Brouwer, it appears you forgot to sign your post. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button icon located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when. Additionally, I responded to your COI request on that page, but you may not recieve a notification since I didn't respond to a post signed by you, so I am informing you here! Thanks! - Otherwise (Talk?) 14:10, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much for pointing that out! I appreciate the help:) Brucemyboy1212 (talk) 20:18, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Anytime! - Otherwise (Talk?) 20:31, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Small suggestion

This isn't a rule, guideline or policy, but it would help me and other COI edit reviewers alot if you used the {{Reflist-talk}} in your COI edit requests. This places the references wherever you place this template as opposed to the bottom of the page and improves visibility/finding references you cite. Thanks! - Otherwise (Talk?) 18:42, 3 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Heard that! Thanks for the feedback. I went ahead and added it here since the request is still open: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Walter_De_Brouwer#Requested_update_November_2025 Brucemyboy1212 (talk) 20:10, 3 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
You should add it to the end of your proposed revisions because it will only list references listed above it in sequential order. - Otherwise (Talk?) 20:31, 3 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
