Hi, and thanks for writing. I don't know what the original source is. I probably removed it because it's a craptastically crap claim, with no source to back it up. The sentence after that is also a crap claim. It claims a skeleton will disintegrate after "hundreds of years" in zero-pH neutral sand or other soil. That's bull. In my research, I've examined bones that were over 2,100 years old, and had been buried in sand. They were still quite dense. I've also looked at human burials from high acid soils that were 1,700 to 2,400 years old. In some cases, they were completely disintegrated, though I don't know if that happened within 20 years or not. In other cases, the bones were in crap condition, but could still be examined, even after 2,000 years. So the claims are bull, because whoever wrote it probably couldn't find a source to give tidy numbers like that, if they bothered to search for the information. They either made up those claims or likely got those claims from a show like "CSI" or "Bones" or something. I recently read the article Enoshima Sea Candle, which describes Enoshima as a "tidal island". Not really knowing what a tidal island is, I went to the article, and then added Enoshima to the list. If it doesn't fulfill the particulars of the definition, you can remove it from the list. However, on a quick search I did find this page called 10 Mysterious Tidal Island that lists Enoshima as a tidal island. - Boneyard90 (talk) 07:43, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I linked the article to the Japanese article shokupan, which is more appropriate than the article it was originally linked to. Sorry, Boneyard, I somehow missed this in my notifications! Not a mess at all, I just thought you might have had some reason I wasn't aware of. I think revert and move-over-redirect is probably the best way to preserve the history.
