Information icon Hello, I'm Wiiformii. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Portal:Current events/2024 June 9, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Wiiformii (talk) 23:44, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of disasters in Canada by death toll, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Dakota, Lakota and Notre-Dame-du-Lac. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 09:16, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Injury/death count changes

Please do not update injury and death counts in articles without providing or updating the sources. For example, none of the sources in these changes (along with many more) support the updated numbers: [1], [2], [3], [4]. Celjski Grad (talk) 06:15, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bloxzge, you have edited a large number of articles on the number of injured and dead, you must remember that the dead do not count as injured. Also you don't provide sources. An example, if before there were 3 dead and 5 injured, but one of the injured dies later, then the numbers change to 4 dead and 4 injured.--Rafaelosornio (talk) 16:20, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

i dont "count the dead as injured" I update things on their updated death tolls / injuries that are on the Wikipedia page of the event/s. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:55, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Also, you continue to hijack sources. These include [5], [6], [7], and many others. Please respond to these and other concerns brought up by editors on your talk page. Celjski Grad (talk) 17:17, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"hijack sources" 🤓 more like I update things according to the Wikipedia page and source updates actually bud. So don't accuse me of hijacking sources Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:56, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I gave you seven examples where you changed death/injury counts without updating the source — see above. Celjski Grad (talk) 18:14, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Here are three examples.
In List of rampage killers you changed injuries from zero to four and left the source unchanged. The source states: "March 22, 2018 - Travis Reinking, 29, is accused of killing four people at an Antioch, Tennessee, Waffle House after walking in wearing only a green jacket and carrying an assault-type rifle." and says nothing about injuries.
In Portal:Current events/2024 July 13 you changed 20 to 22 killed and left the source unchanged. The source states: "The Palestinian Civil Defence in Gaza says 20 people are now confirmed dead"
In 2024 Hathras crowd crush you changed the death count from 123 to 124 without a source.
You cannot change numbers that are directly referenced by a source without updating the reference. If you're getting updated numbers from a source in another article then you must update the source too. Do you understand this? Celjski Grad (talk) 18:49, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Bloxzge 025: Please adjust your behavior or you will be sanctioned. I'm not only talking about your sourcing, but also how you talk to your fellow editors. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 22:09, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by TheBritinator was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of events). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

License tagging for File:XA-IRE.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:XA-IRE.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:30, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Guestbook signature

Hi. Thank you for dropping by and visiting my guestbook page. I noticed that you also changed your signature. You might think about changing it again to something else because I think there are some guidelines about having high contrast colors that are not readable or whatever. I don't know if these were like blockable rules or whatever and so maybe an admin might bug you about it or maybe not, but you could probably read up on it at WP:signatures. Thanks again for visiting my page! Huggums537voted! (sign🖋️|📞talk) 20:45, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, ignore this message. I just looked at your signature in a browser running incognito mode without any of my scripts running and I also looked at the code in your signature so I've realized there isn't anything wrong with it. The problem is that somehow the code in your signature isn't compatible with the code in one of my scripts causing it to display in a way that makes it unreadable when I run my scripts. Maybe the script can be modified to account for when people use your style, but I'm not even sure which script it is exactly yet and I don't have time to run it down right now. Sorry about the mix-up. Huggums537voted! (sign🖋️|📞talk) 21:06, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Just copy and paste it from any other attack with a number that has the same victim number as the victim figure range in the guideline section. Kinda hard to explain but that's the best I can do. (example) I copy and pasted the injured number (57) from the New Orleans truck attack onto the edit you made as in the guidelines their both in the

one that says 50-99. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 02:30, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Concerning the statement of "8 deaths" in the above article I am wondering that there is just a single source (cited by you) wherein the death of the locomotive driver after the collapse in the Kursk Oblast is mentioned. In all other sources I saw only "7 deaths", all from the Bryansk Oblast. For this reason the number "8" seems doubtful. It might be useful to find more sources to the number "8". Current events

Why are you reverting my edits and removing content that I was the first to add? Also, you are citing Twitter instead of The Washington Post!--Hauskasic (talk) 17:23, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm citing Twitter as it comes from the Syrian Civil Defence Forces themselves. Also, the article you included says "suicide bomber" and "attacker", not two, and you are removing both of the reliable sources I added. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:24, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Twitter is not a reliable source.--Hauskasic (talk) 17:26, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If it comes from a reliable source it is. I will remove it anyways as I found a more recent source. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:27, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Do not hastily revert other editors' contributions again. Please clarify any corrections you wish to make on talk pages. Hauskasic (talk) 17:29, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Your saying stuff that the article didn't put so obviously I'm going to revert it. How many times do I have to tell you to stop adding information without a source? Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:30, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What do you want from me? Are you trying to get me to stop contributing to a free encyclopedia? The source I added directly addresses what happened, while you are including unnecessary information, such as citing the civil defense labeling the attack as “terrorist” before any investigation has taken place. The Washington Post is a far more reliable source than Twitter! Hauskasic (talk) 17:34, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Calling an attack terrorism is very important. I don't really care what you do on Wikipedia I just want you to add stuff with a source. I'm not saying TWP is unreliable I'm saying your adding stuff that wasn't in the article. Also once again, the Twitter post came from a reliable source. Lastly, the article you added has stuff that's already mentioned in the free to view CTV News article while your article has a paywall. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:37, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Your behavior does not suggest a willingness to collaborate with others here. Your attitude comes across as self-centered and unconstructive. Hauskasic (talk) 17:38, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Than leave me alone. I'm not trying to be rude your just being annoying and I have clearly stated my reasons why I think you are. Let's stop arguing and move on. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:39, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It’s clear who’s being disruptive, given the number of blocks you’ve recently received. The fact that a source is not freely accessible is not a valid reason for its removal. Educate yourself before engaging in edit wars. Hauskasic (talk) 17:46, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not saying it should be removed cause it's behind a paywall I'm saying you should find a free source. Don't bring up my past with a red link user... Like I said already, move on instead of arguing. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:48, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Stop the personal attacks. This is your final warning. Your behavior is not appropriate for Wikipedia! Hauskasic (talk) 17:52, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You’ve gone too far, and something needs to be done to stop you! Hauskasic (talk) 17:54, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said, I'll stop reverting your edit's now since I don't like to argue. Stop acting like I'm some kind of movie villan. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:54, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not attacking you lol. If anything, we both are. Here, I will stop conflicting with you. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 17:54, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Hauskasic, instead of working against each other, why don't we both work together to improve the article? Bloxzge 025 (talk) 18:02, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, that’s what I was hoping for. I had no ill intentions toward you. Hauskasic (talk) 18:05, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Sorry for the arguing. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 18:06, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I see that your aggressive behavior is directed solely at my contributions. You are the one who caused all this disruption. Hauskasic (talk) 18:03, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I already said why don't we work together to improve the article. If you don't want to, that's fine, but I'm done with arguing. Bloxzge 025 (talk) 18:05, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Red links, bold/revert/discuss, bold redirect

Hi, please stop removing red links as you've done repeatedly at 2025 Coeur d'Alene shooting. If you'd like to understand why, you could read the edit history and the notes people left you when they were adding those back, but for now, WP:REDYES should suffice. You should also consider WP:BRD when editing, and if you are reverted, take your changes to the talk page to gain consensus if you really think your changes should be made. In so far as bolded text goes, please see MOS:BOLDREDIRECT which covers bolding a redirect target at the target article similar to what is done at this same article. You should probably refrain from significant editing until you're more clear about what is acceptable in articles and what is not. —Locke Colet • c 20:16, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stop

Stop icon Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. An edit war occurs when two or more users begin repeatedly reverting content on an page in a back-and-forth fashion to restore it back to how they think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree with their changes. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or undo the edits made by other editors when your changes are reverted. Instead, please use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. The best practice at this time is to stop editing the page and to discuss the disagreements, issues, and concerns at-hand with the other editors involved in the dispute. Wikipedia provides a page that helps to detail how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard, or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection while the discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.

Continuing to engage in further edit warring behavior can result in being blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your demeanor, behavior, or conduct indicate that you intend to continue repeatedly making reverts on the page. Administrators' noticeboard notification

You reported Astrawiki3203 for edit warring, but failed to notify them. You must notify a user when reporting them with the AN3-notice template. Please always use edit summaries

Hi! I noticed that most of your recent edits, including edits to Evergreen High School (Colorado), did not include an edit summary. Another person asked you in February 2025 to use edit summaries (User_talk:Bloxzge_025#February_2025). You can review your history here: https://xtools.wmcloud.org/editsummary/en.wikipedia.org/Bloxzge_025. Please take care to summarize each and every edit you make, especially on mainspace articles related to current events. This is very helpful to other editors as we work together to build an encyclopedia. Thank you! Dreamyshade (talk) 04:00, 11 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Bloxzge 025: Just wanted to ask again, since your subsequent edits to Killing of Charlie Kirk did not include edit summaries. See WP:LISTENTOUS. Please take the time to briefly explain your edits in edit summaries. Dreamyshade (talk) 16:49, 11 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Bloxzge 025: I see that you continue to edit other articles without including edit summaries, and without acknowledging my requests. Please see Wikipedia:Communication is required. Dreamyshade (talk) 02:28, 14 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Bloxzge 025 Hi! I see you continue to not include edit summaries for some of your edits. Can you commit to including edit summaries for your edits? Please see Wikipedia:FIES: "According to the policy on consensus, all edits should be explained (unless the reason for them is obvious)—either by clear edit summaries, or by discussion on the associated talk page." There is additional guidance on that page, including WP:EDITSUMCITE. Dreamyshade (talk) 16:48, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Raskuly (talk) 23:55, 17 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

See the line Add red links to articles to indicate that a page will be created soon or that an article should be created for the topic because the subject is notable and verifiable? Per the list at State bureau of investigation, it seems likely that the Mississippi State Bureau of Investigation warrants an article, which I did check before adding the red link.
