Ten Tragic Days
In the article, 1913 Mexico coup d'etat isn't mentioned. The government of president Madero got overthrown by Gen. Huerta with financial and political support from the American embassy. I suggest it to be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CoroneldelNorte (talk • contribs)
El Salvador
I noticed this page does not feature El Salvador, but according to the wikipedia page on the 1979 Salvadoran coup d'état the US had a role in it. Should it be added? JPHC2003 (talk) 01:56, 22 March 2025 (UTC)
- @JPHC2003 i think so Braganza (talk) 07:48, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
- Costa Rican Civil War is also missing Braganza (talk) 07:49, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
Second French intervention in Mexico
Does this count, parts of the country remained under republican rule but usually the republic ends in 1863 Braganza (talk) 07:56, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
Restore Deleted Material -- Argentina / Ecuador
Argentina: I have restored the material on Argentina which had been in the article in some form from its creation in December 2017. It was still there in December 2018, December 2019, December 2020, December 2021, etc. Mention of Argentina has been in the article until FlamencoReturns deleted it on 13 April 2025 without seeking consensus. Since then through WP:BRD Calm down dude reverted it. The two editors have been in a slow edit war since then without any discussion here. I have restored what I believe is a stable version of that content. --David Tornheim (talk) 13:42, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- I removed Argentina from the article as its section doesn't include any sources that detail how the US was directly involved in the 1976 coup. FlamencoReturns (talk) 22:08, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
- When I just restored the material, I said you had not discussed, but I now see you did respond here. I believe the status quo was for the inclusion of the material. So I believe it should stay unless you have additional support for removing it--per my original comment. --David Tornheim (talk) 11:17, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
- I added more sourced material and Wikilinks to show the connection of the coup to the U.S. and the School of the Americas--training center for dictators.[1]

Ecuador: I have restored the material on Ecuador first added on 27 October 2023 by Vrostky which was stable for a year and half before FlamencoReturns first deleted it on 14 April 2025 without seeking consensus. Since then through WP:BRD Calm down dude reverted it. The two editors have been in a slow edit war since then without any discussion here. I have restored what I believe is a stable version of that content. 13:42, 16 October 2025 (UTC) --David Tornheim (talk) 13:42, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
Map in wrong
The map is wrong. At a minimum, it does not show the U.S.'s involvement against Venezuela. --David Tornheim (talk) 11:02, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
