Inconsistency with the main character's name.
There may be some inconsistency with the main character's full name in the article. In the opening section she is called Nicole Walker, but in both the gameplay and plot sections, she is Nicole Wilson. If someone knows her actual name, please change it to that in all occuring settings. 90.139.88.55 (talk) 08:07, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. I reinstated some text from before the copyedit which included the wrong surname. Changed it so that it's Wilson. --PanagiotisZois (talk) 12:53, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
Irving 'going out into the cold'
'Irving thanks Nicole, who is devastated at the realization that her mother murdered Rachel, for uncovering the truth and goes out into the cold to die.'
Ahem... why? Is there any explanation in the game? OK, I get that 'their household was abusive and Rachel was his only source of comfort', but still, he had somehow managed to live for ten years and have a career as a FEMA agent. Another random and unmotivated suicide like Nicole's? 62.73.72.3 (talk) 07:49, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
'Child sexual abuse', 'grooming' etc.
Rachel is claimed to have been 16 at the time of her murder, and the current age of consent in Montana is 16. Was it higher in 1983? Or does the game make it clear that the sexual contact with Leonard began before Rachel was 16? Otherwise the characterisations of Leonard's behaviour as 'child sexual abuse', 'grooming' etc. remain puzzling. Sure, a relationship between someone who has just reached the age of consent and an older individual can still be viewed as undesirable due to the disparity in experience and power, but it isn't legally child sexual abuse. 62.73.72.3 (talk) 08:16, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
