Talk:November 2024 Northeast Pacific bomb cyclone

Main space?

@Wildfireupdateman: Any opposition to moving this to the main space? ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:23, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Needs some work especially with images and the storm still being ongoing, but I could probably do it. Pinging @Sink Cat @Roc0ast3r @Bri Wildfireupdateman (talk) 18:35, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I say yes. It will get more done with higher visibility. It's already linked from 2024 in Washington (state). ☆ Bri (talk) 18:36, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Note

Note that the SPC has an experimental site with all spotter reports with descriptions at https://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/reports/new/

I do not know if spotter reports count as RS though. Just a thought. Wildfireupdateman (talk) 18:07, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just realized this is not spotter reports. RS question still stands. Wildfireupdateman (talk) 18:28, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Low" priority across the board?

I challenge the current importance assessments which are "low" for every WikiProject. According to the standard assessment criteria, low means "mainly of specialist interest". This is certainly not the case; this is literally headline news in the PNW and covered by national and international media for general audiences as well. ☆ Bri (talk) 21:39, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just updated the WPWEATHER importance to mid after seeing the October 2021 storm was also mid-importance. Wildfireupdateman (talk) 21:47, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing for Dissipation?

The October 2021 storm has info on when it was dissipated whereas this one does not. Do we know when it dissipated (can't remember though living in Bellevue, WA) SnappyRiffs (talk) 01:28, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
