Old comment
GodE: Littleton trained many wannabe glass artists. I think it would suffice to mention only 2 or 3 of the most famous ones.

Unfortunately, this article does not meet the Good Article criteria at this time. Some of the issues include:
- The lead is too short. With such a fairly lengthy article, please expand the paragraph of the lead, and perhaps even consider adding a second paragraph to the lead.
- Consider adding an Infobox with {{Infobox Person}}.
- A significant amount of information goes unsourced. Examples include the paragraphs that begin with the following sentences:
- "During summer break in 1942"
- "He finished his degree in industrial design in 1947"
- "Littleton’s production as a potter focused"
- "Littleton began his teaching career"
- "Littleton's artwork is in the collections of"
- "Married to Bess Tamura Littleton since 1947."
- The article also needs to be copyedited. Issues include:
- The entire " Personal" section contains sentence fragments.
Once these issues have been resolved, feel free to return the article for a renomination. Gary King (talk) 16:24, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

- Just two comments:
- What is "filial piety"? Can that be changed to something easier to understand?
- The lead could probably be split into two paragraphs for ease of reading.
- Otherwise, everything looks perfect. Really interesting, well-written article. In my view all the issues from the previous review have been rectified. One thing I should note is that there shouldn't be a space between periods and references. I've fixed this, but you might like to remember in the future. I assume you'll clarify the little issue I've noted above, so I'll pass the article. Great work. Naerii 12:30, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Article quality
Since it has been awhile since the last assessment, I have had another look at the current version and noticed the following:
- There is uncited text in the article, including entire paragraphs.
- The lead's formatting is awkward, with short paragraphs at the end. The artist's death is also not mentioned, which seems like an oversight. I think editors have added to the lead as appropriate, but now the lead needs to be reorganised with new information included.
Should this go to WP:GAR? Z1720 (talk) 13:10, 28 February 2025 (UTC)

Uncited statements. The lead's organisation is also unusual with several small paragraphs, and doesn't mention the subject's death. Z1720 (talk) 17:02, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- Delist no edits to address concerns. Z1720 (talk) 14:33, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
