Number of deaths ...
Number of deaths was estimated between 650-800 men. Togheter with the number of wounded and arrested ( ~10.000 ) this lead to 11.000 victims which, later, communist propaganda transform in "11.000 deaths". ;)

I could be wrong, but from what I know, the 11,000 deaths figure was not invented by communists, but it was widely used in the press of the time. Just because the Communists used it as propaganda doesn't mean it's not true. bogdan10:10, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
