Qazipora Patushi is a merged village in the Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Formed by the amalgamation of two historic villages - Patushay and Qazipora.[7]
Geography
Qazipora Patushi is situated at an elevation of 1,590 m (5,220 ft) above sea level, covering a total area of 5.58 km2 (558 ha; 2.15 sq mi). The village lies:
- 8 km northwest of Bandipora town
- 65 km north of Srinagar
- Along the banks of the Madhumati River, a tributary of the Jhelum River[8]
The terrain is characterized by:
- Alluvial plains (60% of area)
- Gentle slopes (30%)
- Rocky outcrops (10%)
