John D. Coffino is an American basketball coach.
Biography
John D. Coffino was born November 7, 1962, in New York City and raised in the Bronx. Coffino came to the Albany Legends[1] from the Qatar Sports Club, where he was a head coach.
Coffino's international experience[2] started in 2011 as a head coach of Qatar Sports Club. Coffino worked in Nairobi[3] as coach of a girls school team and a developmental men’s professional team.[4]
Right after the Dankind Academy[5] in June 2014, Coffino became the head coach of British Basketball League side Cheshire Phoenix.[6][7] Coffino was awarded the Molten BBL Coach of the Month[8] award for December 2014 after having led the Phoenix on an eight-game winning streak during the month.
In June 2019, he signed a contract with the Vejen Basketball Klub in Denmark.[9]
