Gavork-e Sardasht Rural District (Persian: دهستان گورك سردشت)[5] is in Rabat District of Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Si Sar.[6] The rural district was previously administered from the city of Rabat.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the Central District) was 5,316 in 887 households.[7] There were 4,137 inhabitants in 1,032 households at the following census of 2011.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,364 in 766 households. The most populous of its 31 villages was Si Sar, with 641 people.[4]

In 2020, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Rabat District.[6]
