Draft:List of leprosy associations

This is a list of leprosy associations or societies, also called anti-leprosy associations. Leprosy is a disease and the research and struggle for adequate care and even eradication has been organized in panels, associations, societies.

NGOs working with the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy (ILEP) follow a global trend for NGOs in general. The trend is that of moving away from provision of services in the sense of charity, towards fostering development and co-operation, more integrated with the general health services of a country.[1]
