Hi ModernManifestDestiny! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of The Left (Germany) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:The Left (Germany), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 19:13, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Robby.is.on. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Talk:The Left (Germany) that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Labelling another editor's contributions as "low IQ" is not acceptable. Also, "I will assume you are in violation of WP:SOCK until you log in." violates WP:AGF. Robby.is.on (talk) 01:30, 9 March 2025 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Far-left politics are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. - Hi Abo Yemen. You are incorrect.
- The article has been altered since last review, I have added another source to complement my original main source, which was the original reason for declination. Please re-read it and resubmit the AfC. ModernManifestDestiny (talk) 20:38, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
Would you like some helpful comments on your draft?
I'm happy to give some They won't be criticisms, just things new users don't often know. Doug Weller talk 08:16, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Sure, I have multiple at the moment. MMD † (talk) 16:25, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- See WP:RSNP about global.org - actually I'll copy it for you: "GlobalSecurity.org is an unreliable user-contributed and scraper site given to plagiarism. In the 2022 RfC, a slight majority of editors held that globalsecurity.org should be regarded as generally unreliable, with a significant minority arguing for deprecation. The site should not be used to back factual claims on Wikipedia. GlobalSecurity.org should not be confused with globalresearch.ca"
- So it can't be used. Minor issue, you copied some word for word from it, which is a copyright violation. No worries about either, but you will need to fix them before resubmitting your draft. I'm asking all AfC reviewers to add a script which marks unreliable sources in articles. Doug Weller talk 16:51, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, I had no idea actually. I will remove it as a source. MMD † (talk) 17:05, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Where did I copy it word for word? I can't find it, I feel like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. MMD † (talk) 17:09, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

It's very strange to stick my name in your edit summary for your "disputed inline" tag on information that I was not actually responsible for originally including. Please leave my name out of your random edits in the future. Simonm223 (talk) 20:42, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
- You were the one who removed the discussion note, so yes it was directed at you? It is not "random", and I'm sure you know that, calling it random does not help your case. MMD † (talk) 19:17, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Are you talking about [2] this edit from March? Because I really had to dig to figure out what the heck you even meant. And if this is the case then I'd suggest you read WP:POINT because calling on me specifically in an edit summary more than a month later is honestly slightly concerning. Simonm223 (talk) 19:24, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Regardless of how old it is (that is, barely a month and a half old), it is perfectly acceptable to revert an edit that I disagree with, are you saying it is not? MMD † (talk) 19:29, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- What I'm saying I would like you to not do is to mention me by name in edit summaries, especially when it is not immediately apparent what they're in reference to. You manually undid my revert of a third editor's edit from a month and a half previous. My immediate reaction to this was complete befuddlement why you would even mention me since I honestly didn't even remember that specific revert. I edit a lot of pages on Wikipedia and a reversion of a drive-by tagging from over a month ago is not something that I am likely to remember. You will note a fourth editor promptly reverted your edit. This isn't a Simon vs. you situation. This is just a (very minor) content dispute in a CTOP. In the future please keep your edit summaries focused on content and not on editors Simonm223 (talk) 19:35, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- I don't think I need a wiki-lesson from you, I see 0 rules that say I am not allowed to point out a person by name if I believe they are causing an issue. MMD † (talk) 19:43, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Just start following WP:CIV. Please feel no need to respond. I've said my piece and will not comment again on this thread. Simonm223 (talk) 19:49, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Simon my talk page is for real issues, not upset editors who don't want their name stamped on their own edits. There is nothing uncivil about mentioning your name concerning your edits, throwing the entire civility policy page at me is both not helpful and makes you look silly. Unless you find an actual specific rule, consider your complaints ignored.
- Also, it seems odd that you seem happy to start a conversation, but are quick to end it. If you want to discuss, you need to allow time to discuss, otherwise don't start said discussion. MMD † (talk) 20:07, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
