Talk:Drinking culture

Citations

It appears that if all the unsubstantiated material was removed from this article, there wouldn't be much of an article anymore. I started to remove some dubious claims and flimsy definitions, and gave up because there was so little good material to keep. TooManyFingers (talk) 06:00, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I added a couple to the introduction, but yeah this article is missing a LOT of citations. I'll try to come through and add more (Social drinking, and drinking culture by country need a lot of work) when I have time. Sherlocke (talk) 12:49, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Care for inebriated friends

... plays out like this in practice. Adrian Heideman, 18, died after apparently choking on his own vomit after a night of alleged hazing at the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on Oct. 6, 2000. The lawsuit filed by his parents alleges that he was forced to drink beer and blackberry brandy and that when he passed out, he was left to die in a basement room while his fraternity brothers were upstairs watching hired strippers. https://www.hanknuwer.com/remembering-adrian-heideman-alcohol-furnished-to-him-by-pi-kappa-phi-october-7-2000-brandon-bettar-president/ 50.208.42.49 (talk) 18:58, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
