Petrovce (Hungarian: Pétervágása) is a village and municipality in Vranov nad Topľou District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1412.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 309 metres (1,014 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 13.70 km² (5.29 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 441 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 450 people by ethnicity 450 as Slovak, 3 as Russian, 1 as Rusyn and 1 as Not found out.

The village relies on the tax and district offices, and fire brigade at Michalovce and relies on the police force and birth registry at Trhovište.^{[citation needed]}
