English: Argir is a village in the Faroe Islands, which now is more like a part of Tórshavn, the capital, as they have grown together. The population of Argir is around 2000. Argir is a part of Tórshavn municipality. The new buildings on the top are just being built here, they are called Undir Húsavarða. The rectangular shiny building houses the Ministry of Finance, Faroese Statistics and Gjaldstovan.
