Center Township is one of sixteen townships in Calhoun County, Iowa, United States. As of 2025, its population has reached 1,296 people.[3]
History
Center Township was created in 1872. It is named after its location which is near the center of the county.[4]
Geography
Center Township covers an area of 36.62 square miles (94.8 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains five cemeteries: Greenwood, Reformatory, Rosehill, Saint Francis and Saint James.
