Štefanov nad Oravou (Hungarian: Stepanó) is a village and municipality in Tvrdošín District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1355.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 614 metres (2,014 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 12.34 km² (4.76 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 700 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 697 people by ethnicity 689 as Slovak, 11 as Not found out, 3 as Czech, 3 as Other and 1 as Polish.
