Template talk:Infobox political party

Founders

There are many founders in most political parties, so Founder title should be Founder(s). WikiEditPS (talk) 06:32, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If |founders= is used, the label will be plural. If |founder= is used instead... I think you can guess what happens. — HTGS (talk) 13:33, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ah. That is an error with Template:Infobox Indian political party then. As that template just extends this one, you can probably just add |founders= to that template and it should work fine. — HTGS (talk) 07:11, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

GB/NI affiliation

In the UK, it is practice that the party political system in Northern Ireland stay separate from that of Great Britain, and GB parties maintain links with NI equivalents through electoral pacts, e.g. Conservative/UUP, Labour/SDLP, LD/APNI, GPEW/Scottish Greens/GPNI, Reform/TUV. Currently there is no clear place to put these, some put them in "national affiliation", but when there is also an affiliation in the Republic, usually that one takes precedent. I was wondering if new UK-specific parameter(s) should be added, like {{{GB}}} and {{{NI}}}, for this case, as with {{{european}}}. Coleisforeditor (talk) 11:14, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
