Good morning, ok this is mighty discouraging. I'm a pilot in South Africa, I thought his story was compelling and a good excuse to try my hand at writing an article. I spent two weeks on this, learning and trying to comply to every possible WP guideline on notability, reliable secondary sources, etc. I'll take feedback on where I went wrong on those guidelines, but please, being paid for this is ridiculous. Maybe I did too good a job? One thing: I DID get in touch with him to ask if his photo that is on his website can be submitted to Wikimedia in the public domain, which he kindly granted. But I don't believe that is enough to create a conflict? I'm not quite sure how to disclose that part but happy to take input. Odin1974 (talk) 11:02, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
