Wikimedia Hackathon Northwestern Europe 2026

Hello! I noticed you're a bot operator, so I thought you might be interested in a hackathon we're organizing: the Wikimedia Hackathon Northwestern Europe 2026, on 13–14 March in Arnhem, Netherlands.

It's a two-day, technically oriented hackathon bringing together Wikimedians from the region. Whether you want to work on bot frameworks, tools, or other technical projects, this could be a great opportunity to collaborate with fellow developers. Registration closes mid-January or when full. Let me know if there are any questions. Hope to see you there! Daanvr (talk) 09:21, 12 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Help regarding the wiki page.

Hello! I am writing regarding our past submissions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IQ_Option. I proposed corrections to maintain the page’s accuracy, but our suggestions have not been properly reviewed and denied for "whitewashing" without looking into the matter. For example, the paragraph “In Australia ... (ASIC)” misrepresents the ASIC release. The paragraph does not state that IQ Option was among providers cooperated by implementing remedial measures to comply with regulations. Additionally, per WP:STRUCTURE, duplicating the "Controversy" section content in the lede creates "an apparent hierarchy of fact" that front-loads negative material, giving it undue prominence before basic operational information. Many of the cited actions related to licensing or procedural compliance, not proven fraudulent activity.

We kindly request your help in reviewing the information and taking action to maintain the integrity and accurateness of the article. We greatly appreciate the editors' work and maintaining the correctness. EmiliaBOption (talk) 13:56, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
