This article is almost completely based on the highly debatable opinions of Amir Alexander, that reproduce almost word by word old black legends about the Catholic Church and the Jesuit Order that seem, to anyone knowedgeable enough about the most recents trend of the history of science, almost ludicrous. I don't even know how to change this mess. I hope someone will rewrite it in its entirety, sinceit is shameful. 87.2.132.120 (talk) 15:36, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking exception. Granted the article is largely taken from Amir Alexander since there are nine citations to him and only one other author cited. Your reference to "recent trends in the history of science" indicates that there are sources to challenge Alexander. Please indicate what they are, here in Talk, so that editors can make a more balanced article. The challenge in this topic can be confirmed by disambiguation article Continuum which links to several places where related concepts are covered. — Rgdboer (talk) 22:52, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
