Talk:Harrow London Borough Council

Focus

Remember this is an article about a council, not a borough. It should be focussed on the history of the council, not the borough for which we have a separate article. Wording should talk about the councils, not the boroughs/districts. MRSC (talk) 09:51, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kenmore Avenue

Is it in Harrow or Wealdstone, as both are given in the text and the infobox. Jackiespeel (talk) 19:24, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Depends on how you define Wealdstone. The postal address is just Harrow, but the Royal Mail don't use Wealdstone as a postally required locality - it's all classed as part of the Harrow post town. The official postal address as given in the photo caption is therefore correct. There isn't as far as I know a current official definition of Wealdstone. That said, the building is in the area of the borough that was Wealdstone Urban District between 1894 and 1934. Stortford (talk) 06:31, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Mainly for consistency - what does the local council use? Jackiespeel (talk) 17:12, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The council's calendar of meetings gives the postal address - Kenmore Avenue, Harrow. Stortford (talk) 19:00, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
