Hallo

Isn't this map better in terms of source consistency?

They look very similar to me... File:Sasanian_Empire_621_A.D.jpg ignores its own description text, which says that Khosroes reached Cyrene and includes no citations for any other features of the map. It includes some obvious misspellings ("Egyptus" for "Aegyptus"). Finally, this is subjective, but I think the orange map is pretty ugly. Furius (talk) 20:48, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think you are right, but I think the current map is also very bad because I can barely see the city names when I look at it, and in addition, they made a very bad color choice. Askanian (talk) 20:56, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
A map could have been made as it was done in the Safavid dynasty. The current Sassanid map gives a 360P view, the city names are unreadable, and the map is even blurry. Askanian (talk) 20:59, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Map

The map is so blurry that even the cities are not visible and the color selection is not pleasing to the eye. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Empire_of_Iranians_(Sasanian_Empire)_-_AD_620.jpg. I recommend this map Aourendil1 (talk) 13:55, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you’re referring to the first one, in the infobox, it’s an SVG so can be zoomed in on indefinitely or rendered at any desired resolution. (Easy enough to change the colours, too, if others agree they need it.) The replacement you suggest is defaced by a large ‘watermark’; please upload a clean version if you want it to be considered.—Odysseus1479 19:58, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
