When you're on a good thing, eh, Schro...?! Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 22:25, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- LOL - I knew you wouldn't be able to resist! - SchroCat (^ • @) 07:45, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
Toolbox check
- No dab links or EL issues. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 22:26, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Prose/detail
- Anything more we can say on the proposed film? I assume it was never made, can we at least say that (reliably sourced, of course)?
Not an awful lot springs up on this one - even the normally very reliable Lycett leaves it hanging after the acquisition of the rights, with no further information at all. Benson also leaves it at the same point. I know the film was never made (someone would have made reference to it somewhere!) but I cannot find anything that says so! Let me have a bit more of a dig and see if I can find anything in a more esoteric source. - SchroCat (^ • @) 10:24, 28 May 2012 (UTC)Ignore all that - written before the brain was engaged and further research done. Now a bit more of a potted history on the film side added. - SchroCat (^ • @) 10:45, 28 May 2012 (UTC)- Heh, was going to say don't bust a gut -- this is GAN, not FAC, so if you didn't find something soon I wouldn't worry. However all that looks great, well done! Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 11:17, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
Structure/referencing
- No issues.
Supporting materials
- For Media type in the infobox, I'd have thought that in "Print (Hardback & Paperback)", only the first word should be capitalised.
Done - SchroCat (^ • @) 10:24, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- Sole image has suitable FUR.
Summary
- Not much to do, just a couple of minor queries. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 08:29, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- All good, passing as GA. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 11:17, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
That's great Ian—thanks very much, as always. I've made a sort of start on Thrilling Cities, just to complete his entire works, so hope to work together again soon...! - SchroCat (^ • @) 11:28, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
John Boorman
Perhaps the article should mention that John Boorman was hired to direct the film? Boorman mentions it in a book, the title of which I've long since forgotten. I believe it was a collection of interviews. It may have been Michel Ciment's book. Fanthrillers (talk) 20:08, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- If you could find a citeable source it would be great to add it in there. - SchroCat (^ • @) 21:20, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

- Unfortunately Fanthrillers hasn’t edited for over a decade; I still miss them. - SchroCat (talk) 04:58, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
