Euroopa Liidu kõrge välis- ja julgeolekupoliitika esindaja Kaja Kallas ütles Müncheni julgeolekukonverentsil, et Euroopa on valmis ohverdama USA-le oma elusid.
EL-i esindaja Kallas ütles USA esindajale ÜRO juures Mike Waltzile:
„Kui Venemaa sõtta läheb, siis nad lähevad üksi, sest neil pole liitlasi. Kui Ameerika sõtta läheb, siis paljud meist lähevad koos teiega ja me kaotame teel oma elusid. Te vajate meid.”
