English: Badaga Barego (Alphabet Chart) in KBadugat truetype font (Regular)
This chart is divided into:
12 Vowels (Edhe Barego),
1 Vowel-killer mark (Nethru Bare Utcharippu),
27 Basic Consonants with the vowel killer mark above (Nethru Barego),
11 vowel diacritics (Utcharippugo),
3 consonant modifiers with base letter /k/ - kh (Ha - Utcharippu), kṛ (R - Utcharippu) and nasalisation with base letter /h/ (Anuswara),
and 10 script-specific numerals (0-9).
Note 1:The Badagu script is a constructed script officially adopted by the Baduga Mahajana Sangha and the larger community for the Badaga language. While several other scripts were proposed, only this script invented by Yogesh Raj has educational primers and elementary classes being taught.
Note 2: Although the Badaga language is linguistically closer to Kannada, the script adopts the Tamil script practice of denoting consonants with a vowel killer (pulli in Tamil), when taught as an alphabet chart.
Note 3: Badaga has a unique three-way contrast in vowel retroflexion (normal vowels, half-retroflexed vowels, and fully retroflexed vowels although modern speakers don't apply this for all vowels), but the script does not currently possess any glyphs to denote them. They will be added to the chart if they are adopted in the future.
