New Yorgi provints oli Suurbritannia koloonia Põhja-Ameerika kirdeosas aastatel 1664–1783. See ulatus Atlandi ookeani Long Islandilt mööda Hudsoni ja Mohawki jõgesid Suure järvistuni ning põhjas Uus-Prantsusmaani. Läänes lugesid inglased provintsi alla suuri alasid, mille üle tegelikku kontrolli ei olnud.

Aastal 1664 saatsid kuningas Charles II ja tema vend, Yorki hertsog James laevastiku, et hõivata Hollandilt Petrus Stuyvesanti ainuvõimu all olnud Uus-Madalmaad. Stuyvesant alistus Hollandi Lääne-India Kompanii loata. Uus valdus nimeatati Yorki hertsogi järgi. De facto algas inglaste võimuperiood aastal 1664, hiljem kinnitati seda Breda (1667) ja Westminsteri lepingutega (1674). Inglise õigus hakkas provintsis kehtima aastal 1674.

Kaheksateistkümnenda sajandi lõpus ühinesid New Yorgi kolonistid Ameerika iseseisvussõjas kolmeteistkümne kolooniaga, millest sündisid Ameerika Ühendriigid. Briti võim sai lõpliku punkti 1783. aasta Pariisi rahulepinguga. Suurbritannia sõjavägi põgenes New Yorgist 25. novembril 1783, samal päeval jõudis linna George Washingtoni kontinentaalarmee.
