Parfyon Semyonovitch Rogozhin, antagonist of the novel "The Idiot" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. The novel was published sometime in the 1800s. My edition of the novel was around 550 pages. I quite enjoyed the novel. Rogozhin was introduced in the very first chapter and remained an integral part of the novel until the end. It took me a couple weeks to read the entirety of The Idiot. I think my edition had an introduction that I did not bother reading. All introductions or forewords to books that weren't written by the original author are pretentious drivel.
