On 11 August 2024, a bomb exploded on a minibus in Dashte Barchi, Kabul, Afghanistan. One civilian was killed and 11-13 others were wounded. The attack apparently targeted the country’s minority Shia Hazara community, that resides in the area where the bombing took place. Islamic State – Khorasan Province claimed responsibility for the attack.[1][2]
